There is nothing Dwayne Johnson likes more than showing off his pecks.

And the Oscars red carpet was no exception as he planted one on partner Lauren Hashian on Sunday.

The 44-year-old made sure he stood out as always, rocking a deep blue veluor tux jacket with his black trousers, white button-down shirt and dickie bow.

The thigh-high split showed off her long legs, as well as the matching rose gold studded ankle strap shoes.

While The Rock himself isn’t nominated, he played a pretty big part in one of the films in two of the big categories.

He starred as the demigod Maui in Moana, which is up for both Best Animated Film, and Best Original Song.

Both categories are stacked: Kubo and the Two Strings, My Life as a Zucchini, The Red Turtle and Zootopia are also up for Best Animated Film.

On the night he introduced Moana’s songwriter Lin-Manuel Miranda, who rapped an intro to How Far I’ll Go, which was then performed by 16-year-old Auli’i Cravalho.

Grabbing an the opportunity to blast out a bar of his own song You’re Welcome, he joked about the Academy passing on having him perform on the night.
