La historia de la bebé Luna Fenner, que nació con una extraña marca de nacimiento, tocó los corazones de millones de personas en marzo de 2019 cuando nació.La niña nació con una marca de nacimiento enorme. El nevo melanocítico congénito, que tiene la forma de una “máscara de Batman”, está determinado por una anomalía durante la embriogénesis. Así, la enorme marca de nacimiento atormentó a Luna, de 3 años, y a sus padres desde su nacimiento hasta hace un mes, cuando un equipo de oncólogos expertos operó a la pequeña heroína en Krasnodar.
“La gente ha dicho más de una vez que es ᴜɡɩу y contagioso”, dice su madre, “¡pero es lo más maravilloso, real y hermoso de nuestras vidas!” añade a través de lágrimas.
Aunque el costo total del tratamiento de Luna es muchas veces menor en Rusia que en Estados Unidos, la familia Fenner no tiene suficiente dinero para pagar los procedimientos. Pero justo entonces ocurre un error: personas de todo el mundo ayudan y responden a la familia, y apenas unos meses después de la promesa de los médicos rusos, Luna y su madre se mudan a Krasnodar.
Hasta la fecha, Luna Fenner, de 3 años, se ha sometido a 8 cirugías: tanto láser como cutánea. El último procedimiento se realizó con éxito en octubre. Según los oncólogos, Luna superó bien todos los procedimientos y empezó a correr y saltar apenas dos horas después de la anestesia. Ahora a la pequeña sólo le quedan algunos procedimientos cosméticos para suavizar las cicatrices, tras los cuales podrá regresar a su casa en Estados Unidos.
