She rarely steps a foot wrong when it comes to her sartorial choices.
And Friday proved to be no exception for Emilia Clarke, who looked simply stunning, as she cut a demure figure at the 18th American Film Institute (AFI) Awards, held at the Four Seasons Hotel, in Los Angeles.
The Game of Thrones star, 31, channelled sophisticated chic, as she showcased her curvaceous frame in a pretty emerald green frock for the prestigious annual event.

Chic: Emilia Clarke looked simply stunning, as she cut a demure figure at the 18th American Film Institute (AFI) Awards, held at the Four Seasons Hotel, in Los Angeles
Emilia’s dress made sure to highlight her slender frame, as it nipped in at the waist before billowing out around her legs in a pleated two-tone skirt.
Her stylish number boasted a high neckline that teased a look at her bare decolletage with its scooped design that sat slightly off each shoulder and she paired it with vibrantly coloured strappy heels – adding extra height to her attire.
Letting her dress take centre stage, Emilia, who is usually brunette, chose to sweep her platinum blonde tresses similar to that of her onscreen character Daenerys Targaryen, back into a slick low bun, parted in the middle.
Sporting a subtle yet striking beauty look that accentuated her natural features, Emilia favoured immaculate make-up that came complete with bold brows, bronzer swept cheeks and a dark berry lip to offset her ensemble.

The AFI Awards honours the top 10 films and TV shows of the year and held a luncheon in Los Angeles to celebrate its selection of the past year – many of which have also received nods for the Golden Globe Awards set to take place on Sunday.
Representing Game Of Thrones, that was listed as one of the best TV shows of 2017, Emilia looked delighted to be in attendance. She joined a slew of stars including Girls star Allison Williams and Tom Hanks.
Emilia’s Stateside appearance comes after it was confirmed that Game Of Thrones Season 8 will not hit small screens until 2019.
That means the medieval fantasy is sitting out 2018 entirely as has long been rumored even before actress Sophie Turner, who plays Sansa Stark, made the big reveal in Variety last month.

Season 7 wrapped after just seven episodes on August 27 with an 80-minute segment called The Dragon And The Wolf.
It contained a slew of reveals not least of which was that Jon, played by Kit Harington, is actually the son of actor Wilf Scolding’s Rhaegar Targaryen and Aisling Franciosi’s Lyanna Stark, long written out of the series – making him the heir to the Iron Throne.
Shockingly, it also makes him the nephew of Daenerys Targaryen, played by Emilia, which means their lusty romance is incest.

The final scenes showed the Night King riding undead dragon Viserion with the White Walkers leading an army of the undead as they finally battered down the Great Wall that had kept the south safe for millennia.
Emilia has starred in the show since it debuted back in 2011. It has become a fan favourite thanks to its stellar cast, action-packed drama and raunchy scenes, but Emilia has since spoken out about the nudity involved in Game of Thrones and insisted it should not overshadow the show’s storylines.
In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, she hit back: ‘People say, “Oh yeah, all the p**n sites went down when Game of Thrones came back on,” and I’m like, “The Handmaid’s Tale?!” I f**king love that show and I cried when it ended because I couldn’t handle not seeing it – that is all 𝑠e𝑥 and nudity.
‘There are so many shows centred around this very true fact that people reproduce. People f**k for pleasure – it’s part of life.’
