LeBron James made a post to Instagram after the Los Angeles Lakers beat the Houston Rockets.
On Saturday evening, the Los Angeles Lakers hosted the Houston Rockets in California.
The Lakers won the game by a score of 107-97, and Anthony Davis led the way with 27 points, 14 rebounds, three assists and five blocks.
LeBron James finished his night with 16 points, four rebounds, seven assists, one steal and one block while shooting 7/17 from the field.
Following the game, James made a post to Instagram with videos and photos from the victory.
There were over 640,000 likes and nearly 9,000 comments in less than four hours.
James captioned his post: ““Old Man Wise still got the game in a chokehold/ It’s been over 2 decades I’ve been in this mode”. 🌪️👑 #ThekidfromAKRON🤴🏾 #striveforgreatness🚀 ♟️ NOT……😉”
James was involved in two viral moments from the game.
During the first half, the 38-year-old had an incredible 360 layup.
At the end of the game, James and Rockets head coach Ime Udoka were seen exchanging words, and both got a technical foul.
Udoka received his second, so he was also ejected.
With the victory, the Lakers improved to 12-9 in their first 21 games, which has them as the seventh seed in the Western Conference.
They are 6-4 over their previous ten games and will play their next game on Tuesday when they host Devin Booker and the Phoenix Suns.
James is averaging 24.4 points, 7.6 rebounds, 6.3 assists and 1.4 steals per contest while shooting 55.1% from the field and 38.3% from the three-point range in 20 games.
