One Packers fan made a clever reference to Swift’s 2008 hit Love Story, in which she sings “It’s a love story / baby, just say yes.” As the Packers’ young quarterback Jordan Love put together one of the better performances of his career to date, a fan held up a sign that read “IT’S A LOVE STORY” with Love’s number 10.

Love finished 25-of-36 passing for 267 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions as the Packers beat the Chiefs 27-19.

Swift was in a luxury box with Brittany Mahomes (wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick) and Lindsay Bell (wife of Chiefs tight end Blake).

One fan below Swift’s box held up a sign that read “Taylor, can I give you a friendship bracelet?” which appeared to draw a reaction from the pop star. The other side of the sign apparently read “Heart Divided,” with photos of Swift and gymnast Simone Biles, who is married to Packers safety Jonathan Owens.

Other fans sent messages in different ways: A Chiefs fan wore a customized jersey with Travis Kelce’s number 87 and the words “Taylor’s Boyfriend” above the number. NBC’s broadcast caught a sign with that message too, as well as a sign that read “Not A Swiftie, A Mahomie,” with a picture of Mahomes’ face.

Love’s first career start came against the Chiefs two years ago, which made Sunday’s game an important one for the 2020 first-round pick.

“Obviously I’ve had this game circled for a long time,” Love told reporters afterward. “This was my first start and I obviously didn’t play how I wanted to the first game. To be able to see these guys and get the victory is huge.”

Swift, meanwhile, had a busy week. She attended the London premiere of Renaissance: A Film by Beyonce, then jetted back to Kansas City and went to a holiday party with Kelce. Sunday was the first time she was present for a Chiefs loss, as Kelce finished with four receptions for 81 yards.

The Chiefs (8-4, 4th in the AFC) head back home to take on the Bills next week. The Packers, who moved into the seventh and final spot in the NFC playoff picture with the win, take on the New York Giants for ESPN’s Monday Night Football clash on Dec. 11.
