Beckham played a major role in helping Gomez run out of the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures Annual Gala.
Selena Gomez represented the introvert community with her new Instagram Story on Tuesday (Dec. 5).
In the clip, the Only Murders in the Building star is seen quickly leaving the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures Annual Gala in Los Angeles on Dec. 4. As she runs, her pal Brooklyn Peltz-Beckham holds the train of her black gown so she doesn’t trip. “Me leaving any event,” she joked in the caption. “Thank you @brooklynpeltzbeckham for the help.”
Earlier this year, Brooklyn appeared as a guest on the Jennifer Hudson Show, where he opened up about his and wife Nicola Peltz-Beckham’s friendship with the “Hands to Myself” singer. “[Gomez] says we’re a throuple,” he joked to Hudson. “She’s a very sweet girl, obviously very talented, and I love when my wife makes new friends, especially really great friends. And you know, we all get along, so yeah!”
The trio met in December 2022, so when Brooklyn posted a photo of the “throuple” at the Gala this week, he fittingly captioned the post, “Our anniversary.”
Earlier in the month, Gomez gushed over another one of her besties, praising Taylor Swift for earning the title of Apple Music Artist of the Year. “I think it’s pretty obvious why Taylor is the artist of the year,” Gomez says in a self-filmed clip posted by Apple Music on social media. “She has done so much for her community and fans.”
