Chelsea striker Armando Broja is currently patiently waiting for more opportunities since his return from injury.
It’ll be interesting to see if he gets that on Wednesday night against Manchester United.
The Blues travel to Old Trafford tomorrow night to face Man United, with three vital points up for grabs in the Premier League.
Who will Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino choose to lead the line in Manchester?
Competition for Nicolas JacksonWe’ve seen Blues player Nicolas Jackson, 22, emerge as the first-choice striker this season. In fairness, he’s scored seven goals in 16 appearances across all competitions since his summer arrival from Villarreal.
As a result, Armando Broja is currently second in the pecking order for the No 9 position.
The 22-year-old’s come off the bench for late cameos in the last three league games. In fact, he’s only started two league matches so far under Pochettino.
GiveMeSport recently claimed that Pochettino does actually have a lot of faith in Broja as a player. There’s a belief that he can bring something extra to the line-up in games ahead, too.
However, we’re still waiting to see proof of that by giving him more minutes on the pitch.
Chelsea fans want Armando Broja to start
A selection of Blues supporters on social media are rallying together to demand Broja is recalled to the XI versus Man United.
Our feeling is that the pace and power of Broja could be a very useful tool to counter-attack Man United in midweek.
The Albania international definitely possesses the quality to hurt top-flight defences, but he needs time to get some rhythm into his own game.
Here are some Chelsea fans on X discussing Broja:
I want to see Broja and Jackson start a game together, Jackson coming in from the left @dittzyalfy @ayobamzo

Broja vs United. Imagine their CBs trying to handle his speed and power. It would actually be over if he's 1v1
