Mariah Carey proved that age is just a number when she effortlessly recreated the main look from her 1993 music video for Dreamlover on Instagram for her 12.1 million Instagram followers.
‘Homage to the Dreamlover video (sans the grassy fields),’ the Touch My Body singer captioned the photo carousel, complete with a laughing emoji.
The 54-year-old music megastar wore her long sun kissed dirty blonde locks loose in the photos, complete with the music video’s famous plaid black and white button up shirt.
Rocking her signature makeup style that includes a subtle smokey eye, winged liner, and the perfect dab of blush, the 54-year-old vocal powerhouse didn’t look a day older than when she first appeared in the Dreamlover music video thirty years ago.
The only thing missing from her Dreamlover recreation was her mane of perfectly coiled curls that she rocked in the original video.

In the original Dreamlover music video, Mariah rocked a similar plaid button up shirt, rocking it as a crop top in a grassy field with a head full of curls.
‘I need a lover to give me the kind of love that would last always,’ the crooner sings in the video filled with grassy fields, as she joked in her Instagram caption.
The curvaceous beauty’s look recreation post appeared to be in honor of the Music Box 30th anniversary edition album being released last Thursday.
Mariah’s 1993 album was full of hits including Dreamlover, Hero and Without You.
The 30th anniversary edition includes never before released tracks, remastered audio of the New York born beauty’s 1993 concert at Procter’s Theatre and more.
The Anytime You Need A Friend singer wrote of her gratitude for the 30th anniversary Music Box record on her Instagram, with a caption that read, ‘I feel so grateful to have the ability to share this moment with you all.’
She added, ‘As I’m sitting here listening to this album, I’m filled with memories — going from sadness to regret, joy, nostalgia and amazement.’
The hitmaker, with decades of popular singles and records noted, ‘Thank you for being here with me on this journey.’
She gave a toast to her fans in the caption as she celebrated the commemorative album’s release.

She’s one of the headliners for the upcoming Hot 97 Hip Hop Forever concert on September 15th.
The concert, set to be held at Madison Square Garden, also features the Wu-Tang Clan and Mary J. Blige.
