Kim Kardashian expresses that she won’t ever pressure her kids to become entrepreneurs, stating that she wants them to pursue whatever makes them happy.

Kim Kardashian wants the best for her children, no matter what their future occupations.

The reality star and mogul, 43, opened up about navigating her business career on the latest episode of Mavericks with Mav Carter that dropped Wednesday, sharing that she doesn’t expect her kids North, 10, Saint’s, 8, Chicago, 5, and Psalm, 4, to necessarily follow in her entrepreneurial footsteps.

“I want them to do whatever makes them happy,” Kardashian told the SpringHill Company CEO, when asked if she’d be a similar mom to her famous “momager” Kris Jenner.

She went on to explain that North and Saint’s interests are already taking shape. “I already see what they’re into and like the creative energy from them and I kind of can tell maybe where my two older ones are going to go,” Kardashian said. “North, for sure, feels like a creative. Saint feels like a creative.”

The Skims founder said though that it’s too early to tell with her younger two children. “The little ones, Chicago and Psalm? If you ask Psalm what he wants to do, he wants to be like a truck driver or anything with a truck,” she said. “That’s like been his Halloween costume for like three years.”

Speaking of her younger daughter, The Kardashians star added that Chicago “just a princess” and doesn’t know what she’ll end up being in years to come.

“But I definitely see it in North,” Kardashian continued. “And I think that I won’t ever push her to do anything. It’s whatever she finds her passion in. … It’s more about what she cares about.”

That outlook, Kardashian told Carter, comes out of a desire to shield North and her other kids from whatever she can, knowing the pressures of growing up in the spotlight.

“I grew up so normal, not in the fame world. I couldn’t even imagine,” she said. “I want to make sure I can protect her as much as I can, with her parents being who they are.”

Kardashians’ remarks come after she was seen on The Kardashians teaching North the art of constructive criticism, after admitting that her oldest has a habit of being “critical” and giving different designers harsh “notes” during her fittings.

“This is just her vibe,” the mom of four said, noting North’s tendency to tell it too straight. “North won’t lie, and that’s amazing. So I’m trying to teach her you don’t need to just jump in and annihilate people for no reason. There’s a way to soften it up.”

“There’s a way to be honest and not hurt people’s feelings, so I want you to learn that,” she told her eldest daughter. “Because there’s a way to say, ‘You know, I might not love that.’ ”

Speaking to GQ for the cover story of their Men of the Year issue last month, the SKIMS founder opened up about her parenting style, saying that although she doesn’t speak to a therapist for herself, the mom of four does consult one when it comes to her kids.

“I tried a little bit before my marriage ended,” Kardashian said, of therapy. “I do have a therapist that only deals in child psychology that I talk to to get parenting tips and advice. Sometimes I feel challenged by parenting.”
