Jey Uso has revealed what he thinks of a potential clash between The Rock and Roman Reigns – and it appears things might be very one-sided.
The ‘Main Event’ superstar has recently been enjoying heightened status in the WWE after he headlined a Raw event and the Survivor Series.
And as Roman Reigns continues to dominate in the WWE, there have been suggestions that wrestling legend the Rock could be in line to face him.
Asked by Mail Sport’s Alex McCarthy about this prospect, Uso said: ‘If I had to pick one, I’d pick the Tribal Chief. The Rock’s been out the game for a while, the Tribal Chief know what it is.
‘I feel like no one’s going to de-throne the Tribal Chief, if it’s not one of us in the family – I don’t think there’s no one out there. Punk, Randy, it’s none of them.’
Dwayne Johnson, 51, made his shock return to the ring in September after a four year absence
Asked whether he would like to face the Rock, he added: ‘I think that’s what the people want, I mean hell yeah I’d like to interact with the Rock.
‘It could work and I feel it would be real entertaining. That’s the two biggest stars in our family, but we’re still winning either way.’
The Main Event star also agreed that a match between the two of them ‘would be the biggest match in wrestling’ and he would ‘love to see it’.
Recently Uso has been battling a trademark over his use of the phrase ‘yeet’ in events.
Asked what will be the outcome of that, he said: ‘Yeah man, they trying to shut my yeet down. We’ll get past that though, I’m still going to be out there yeeting.’
