Taylor Swift contributed $1 million to aid the Tennessee residents affected by the recent tornado storm.
The singer, 33, donated to natural disaster relief after a reported 13 tornadoes touched down and devastated multiple counties in the state over the weekend.
She funded the Tennessee Emergency Response Fund at the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee, according to USA Today on Monday.
The CEO of the community foundation, Hal Cato, also confirmed the Grammy winner’s contribution to the organization — which she has donated to in the past.
The Cruel Summer hitmaker — who cheered on her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, while in attendance at his home game in Kansas City, Missouri on Sunday — has donated to the organization in the past.
Her donation will contribute to help those affected with financial assistance, food, temporary housing, debris clean-up and animal sheltering.
Over the weekend, CNN reported that there were at least six deaths and over 50 people injured as a result of the devastating tornadoes.
More than 35,000 residents of Tennessee were reported to have been affected by power outages as well as buildings structurally damaged by the storm.
The Pennsylvania native previously donated to the same organization in March 2020 when tornadoes affected the state she considers her home.
At the time, she shared a post to her Instagram Story alongside a link for others to contribute.
‘Nashville is my home and the fact that so many people have lost their homes and so much more in Middle Tennessee is devastating to me,’ she said.
As a teenager, Swift attended Hendersonville High School in Sumner County.
Though she spends her time mainly on the East Coast, she still lives in Nashville and has her offices there.
Her extensive real estate portfolio includes an a luxury penthouse condo — which she bought in 2009 and her former fling, Matty Healy, was spotted leaving back in May.
She also owns a $2.5 million mansion with four beds and four baths, which she purchased in 2011 for her parents.
The newly minted billionaire often engages quietly in philanthropy and even made sizable contributions throughout her Eras Tour this year.
During her tour, she notably donated to food banks in every American city she played in.
For one, her contribution to the Arizona Food Bank Network allowed the organization to obtain 40,000 pounds of fresh produce to their food banks.
Second Harvest of Silicon Valley Food Bank also stated that during her tour stop in Santa Clara, California she donated enough money ‘to nourish an average of about 500,000 people every month in Santa Clara and San Mateo counties.’
After wrapping the first leg of her record-breaking tour in August, she also gifted $55 million in bonuses to her crew on tour, including dancers, truck drivers, sound crew and catering staff.
