As it turns out, both of Rodgers’ tattoos include nods to his Godson[s].

Included in his extremely detailed forearm tattoo – at the center of which are two lions facing one another watched over by an eye – are three astrological signs.

Speaking to NFL Network last year, Rodgers said: “If you’re not a student of astrology, there’s going to be some weird things to look at on there.

“But there’s three signs at the top: Aquarius to the right, Sagittarius in the middle, and Scorpio on the far left.

“I always said ‘If I get a tattoo, I want to get some representation of my Godson.’

“Now, I have two Godsons – I’m very thankful for that – and one of them is an Aquarius and one of them is a Sagittarius, so I wanted to put a representation of both of them on my arm.

“Scorpio is the sign I most resonate with on my own natal chart. And the rest has some stuff to do with elements and some other things.”

Situated on his inner left bicep, it features a dragon in the shape of an infinity symbol.

Appearing on The Pat McAfee Show on Tuesday, Rodgers explained the meaning behind the artwork created by his “Hungarian brother.”

“I love dragons,” Rodgers said, later adding: “The sideways eight is infinity obviously. And then the two and the twelve is an ode to my Godson.”

Asked by McAfee why the dragon was “sucking his own tail,” Rodgers said: “It’s just to complete the eight, or infinity symbol.”

He later added that there is no connection between this new tattoo and the elaborate one he had done on his forearm in July 2022 by Bercsenyi.

Rodgers did admit that it wasn’t a painless process, explaining: “Up near the pit, the top of the armpit, that part really hurt. Everything else was not too bad.”

All in all, the artwork took “About five hours.”

But for any Jets fans hoping the infinity symbol means he plans on playing forever, as suggested by McAfee, Rodgers simply responded: “That’s not what it means.”
