Kansas City’s Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes each made headlines for their comments about the officiating after the Chiefs’ brutal loss to the Bills on Sunday.
Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce is now going viral for his reaction to the defeat too, however, NFL fans seem to be much more appreciative of the way he went about it.
Kelce, who was part of a wild nullified touchdown on the Chiefs’ final possession, had this to say to Bills quarterback Josh Allen about the play after the game.
“Craziest one that’ll never count,” Kelce told Allen.
In case you missed it this weekend, here’s the play in question. After receiving a pass from Patrick Mahomes, Kelce fired a perfect lateral to wideout Kadarius Toney who walked into the end zone for a touchdown.
Unfortunately, though, Toney was offsides before the play even began, nullifying the would-be score.
The Chiefs, now 8-5, will look to bounce back in Week 15 with a win over New England.
Kickoff is set for 1:00 p.m. ET.
