Brilliant Nigerian lady who had an accident in her final year survives, graduates with first-class Law degree

A brilliant Nigerian lady named Omolade Oba who had an accident when she was in her final year in school has survived to graduate with a first-class law degree at Olabisi Onabanjo University, Nigeria.

Omolade bagged her bachelor’s degree in Law at Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ogun Nigeria with first-class honors. Narrating her story on Linkedin, she stated that she maintained her academic prowess right from childhood.

She mentioned that she was a past participant in the Cowbell Mathematics competition when she was in secondary school, her government subject result was canceled because it was detailed in a replica of the textbook.

She stated that she made a 5.00 grade point average continuously in her final year and had “A”s in difficult Law courses. She added that she scored 74 in the law of jurisprudence, a very hard law course.

Omolade stated that she won the award of the best graduating student in both primary and secondary school. She mentioned that she attended a tutorial in her final year in secondary school and emerged as the most outstanding Student.

She said she had a lot of problems during her last year at university. Omolade mentioned that her laptop was stolen, and her power bank was taken while she was in an area without power for a year.

Omolade said the situation left her with no option but to study by candlelight, and the candle almost burnt her book. She said she also had an accident that affected her left leg but she survived all of her challenges to become a first-class graduate.

Omolade stated that she was able to successfully graduate because she had a belief or a dream, worked hard to achieve it, and eventually succeeded in obtaining it.
