Ava Tells Nina The Truth-She’s A Person Of Interest In Austin’s Murder

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease Ava Jerome (Maura West) will tell Nina Reeves Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) the truth. Concerneda about her daughter, Avery Jerome-Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) she’ll admit that she’s a person of interest in Austin Gatlin-Holt’s (Roger Howarth) murder.

General Hospital Spoilers – Nina Reeves Corinthos Told Ava Jerome To Go To The Police

Nina already knew Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) had been to question Ava after Austin was found dead-and saw the strange note with a photo of his body.

Nina thought she should take that to the police because it could be evidence, but Ava refused, and burned the whole thing in the fireplace.

Ava thought she’d fooled Dante but now she’s not so sure-or, maybe “fooled” isn’t quite the word she’s looking for, closer to threw him off the trail.

Ava didn’t kill Austin but she had some ideas who might have-and she knows even Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) suspected her, because as soon as he found out he asked her!

Ava has an idea that someone may be trying to frame her, possibly to cover for themselves.

GH Spoilers – Diverting Suspicion

Ava hopes to divert suspicion away from herself, but she knows that she is one main person of interest in Austin’s murder-she tells Nina what she told Sonny.

Austin came to talk to her at the art gallery, but luckily she was in the back where the security cameras weren’t working so their argument wasn’t recorded.

She’d let him have it for lying to her when she knew that he knew Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) wasn’t dead all along.

She also let him know that she knew he and Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) were working together, and that they were working for Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober)!

She isn’t surprised if Mason threw her under the bus considering he’d kidnapped and tried to kill her.

General Hospital Spoilers – If The Worst Should Happen, Take Care Of My Daughter

Ava tells Nina if the worst should happen and she’s arrested and convicted of Austin’s murder, she wants her and Sonny to take care of Avery. Previously, she’d let her stay with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) since Avery and Donna Corinthos (Scarlett Spears) are so close.

If Ava has to go away, which she hopes she won’t, she wants reassurance that Avery will be safe, and she knows with Sonny she’ll be safe.

She figures if the killer sent her a strange thank you note and a photo of Austin dead on the floor, then he’ll continue to try and frame her.

It has to be someone very familiar with the situation between her and Austin, and someone Austin knew.
