The Graham Norton Show has been bringing various celebrities together for years and in 2016, it put together an episode featuring Clarke, LeBlanc, Kate Beckinsale, and Dominic Cooper. When the celebrity guests came on, host Graham Norton immediately asked Clarke if she managed to talk to everyone backstage.

In response, the actress started to giggle a bit as she revealed, “Yeah, kind of…” And then Norton pressed Clarke if she got to speak with LeBlanc before teasing the actress, “Emilia Clarke loves Matt LeBlanc!”

Soon after, Clarke turned to LeBlanc (who was sitting next to her) and confessed, “I just think you’re wicked.” In response, LeBlanc put his arm around the actress for a brief moment. After a little bit of discussion among the guest stars (about whether they are fans of LeBlanc), Clarke also got the courage to ask the Friends star to say one of his famous lines from the show.

Luckily for Clarke, the Friends star was more than happy to oblige and softly muttered, “How you doing?” Later on, Clarke shared a photo of herself with LeBlanc on Instagram. In the caption, she wrote, “How YOU doin??! Downright GIDDY now!! Bucket list accomplishment already underway with this gem (both in Joey and Matt form).”

Following their appearance on The Graham Norton Show, LeBlanc and Clarke (sort of) reunited at the 68th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards. While doing a segment on red carpet arrivals, E! thought it would be a good idea to bring the two stars back together using a split screen (they were being interviewed by different hosts).

When host Jason Kennedy asked LeBlanc if the actor watches Game of Thrones, LeBlanc explained that he had only seen the first season. Unexpectedly, he also added that he should start watching the show again since “that’s when she [Clarke] started getting naked — so I need to catch up.”

Since then, LeBlanc’s comment has been met with a lot of criticism, particularly from fans who found the moment offensive.

LeBlanc was rather inconsolable upon learning of his daughter’s condition when she was just 11 months old.

LeBlanc and Clarke had a less awkward discussion about whether he watches Game of Thrones while at The Graham Norton Show. When Norton asked LeBlanc if he was watching the Emmy-winning fantasy drama, the Friends star also revealed that he had only seen the first season.

Unlike on the red carpet, however, LeBlanc offered an explanation, telling Clarke, “I tried to watch it this season and I don’t know what’s going on. There’s so much going on.” He also added that he didn’t want to lie. In response, the actress assured him that he had seen the “good bits” since he watched the first season.

As it turns out, too, Clarke has met with some other stars that she has idolized over the years. Among them is Grammy-winning singer Beyoncé and the two got to meet each other at an Oscars party.

During another appearance on The Graham Norton Show with Regina King, Clarke recalled that the music legend came up to her at the gathering and appeared to be excited to talk to the actress. However, Clarke started to have tears in her eyes. Having had several drinks at the party already, she started to cry in front of the singer.
