Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Krista Allen Shocks!

Krista Allen, 52, told People that she felt so shocked to learn that the Bold And The Beautiful dropped her contract that she “didn’t know what to say.”

As a result, the actress stayed silent after the shocking discovery that she would not return to the soap opera.

But after portraying Dr. Taylor Hayes for two years on the Bold And The Beautiful before CBS dropped her, Allen admitted that she feels baffled. And she confided, “I have no idea what’s going on” with regard to the producers’ decision.

Ironically, Krista conducted the interview amid her appearance at the 50th Daytime Emmy Awards. And she revealed that she knew “for a long time” that Bold And The Beautiful would cut her from the show. However, CBS never made a formal announcement, pointed out the actress.

Meanwhile, as Krista reflected on her exit, she tried to understand why CBS followed that process. “The contract was dropped, which is so crazy. It’s like, make that make sense,” challenged Allen.

And it hit particularly hard to have the end of her contract come amid her nomination for best supporting actress for her performance in a daytime drama series at the Daytime Emmy Awards. As a result, Krista called it bittersweet to receive the nomination amid learning that she would not return.

A previous report revealed that Allen learned in October that producers would not renew her contract. And the actress made her final appearance on the Bold And The Beautiful on Nov. 8.

Krista Allen Plans To Pen Book

However, the Emmy nominee already has looked at her possible new plan. And Allen shared that she might change careers from acting to writing. “I think I might write a book,” proposed the Bold And The Beautiful actress.

“It’s based on a true story… About a woman who took over a role on a soap opera and against all odds ended up winning over a fan base and getting nominated for an Emmy. And then there’s a lot of backstage drama going on, and she has to find her way,” noted Krista.

However, Allen shared that she might include some daytime soap scenes in her upcoming book. “I think I could write something really fun, really make it dramatic and really soapy,” added the actress. “I figure if I could just make a fun book and just make it into a real-life soap opera kind of thing because it kind of feels that way. But yeah, it could be fun.”
