Benny Blanco, Selena Gomez’s boyfriend, has raved over the’super hot’ celebrity, calling her ‘beautiful’.

In a cooking video posted with his 1.1 million Instagram followers, the 35-year-old record producer made crab cakes from his new cookbook Open Wide with friend and chef Olivia Tiedemann.

During their cooking session, as the two were laughing and larking about, Olivia said, ‘We’ve all heard the news you have a really attractive girlfriend,’ to which Benny answered, ‘We’re not talking about that,’ before exclaiming, ‘She’s perfect!’

Olivia then revealed that she was a “big stan” of the pair, who made their relationship public earlier this month after six months of dating, sparking anger against her new love when Selena referred to him as “my absolute everything.”

The two were shown cooking fresh crab, adding Ritz crackers to the mix, and topping it with butter in the amusing film, which Benny dubbed “unhinged.”

Selena was compelled to defend her new lover passionately only days before his remarks when people reminded her that he’d’shaded’ her in the past.

Things rapidly became hot in the comments section between her and her followers, who accused Benny of ‘not treating [her] properly’ and insulting her in the past.

They were especially enraged by an unearthed interview in which Benny seemed to refer to her as a ‘cookie-cutter pop artist’ while complimenting her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber.

Though it may easily be seen as a dig at Gomez, who owns the make-up brand Rare Beauty, she seemed unconcerned.

Selena had previously been connected to The Chainsmokers’ Zayn Malik and Andrew Taggart. In January 2023, she was said to be dating Andrew, and in March 2023, she was rumored to be dating Zayn.

From 2009 until early 2018, Selena dated Justin Bieber on and off, The Weeknd in 2017, and Nick Jonas briefly in 2008.
