Jennifer Lawrence has admitted that the false allegations she slept with Harvey Weinstein were the weirdest thing she’s ever read about herself.
The actress, 32, strenuously denied the claims by the disgraced producer, who is serving a 23-year sentence in a New York prison after being found guilty of rape and sexual assault.
Now, speaking in Vogue’s 73 Questions series, Jennifer has admitted that it’s ‘bizarre’ people ever thought she and Harvey had sex, when reports of his sexually predatory behaviour in Hollywood surfaced and sparked the MeToo movement.

His sexual misconduct accusers include Gwyneth Paltrow, Asia Argento and many others.
Hit back: The actress previously denied the claims by the disgraced producer (pictured together in 2013) that he slept with her
A 2018 lawsuit alleged that the film producer boasted about bedding The Hunger Games star, allegedly telling the plaintiff: ‘I slept with Jennifer Lawrence and look where she is; she has just won an Oscar.’
Following this, Jennifer released a statement denying the claims, saying their dynamic was purely ‘professional’.
She said: ‘My heart breaks for all the women who were victimized by Harvey Weinstein. I have never had anything but a professional relationship with him.
This is yet another example of the predatory tactics and lies that he engaged in to lure countless women.’

During the Vogue chat, Jennifer also divulged how she was surprised that Robert De Niro actually showed up to her rehearsal dinner before her wedding to her husband Cooke Maroney, 38, the father of her six-month-old son Cy.
Recalling what she told the ‘Goodfellas’ star, Jennifer said: ‘Bob, you really don’t need to be here, it’s fine,’ to which he replied: ‘Thank you’ before vacating the premises.
She also opened up on becoming a parent for the first time, revealing her baby son Cy’s gender and name for the first time.
She explained that there wasn’t one word to describe motherhood, and that her family was made her happiest these days.
Insight: During a candid interview with Vogue, Jennifer offered rare insight into her life as a new mother, after welcoming a son earlier this year
Her own piece of parenting advice was that ‘babies don’t get bored’ and when asked about whether motherhood had changed her attitude to working, she answered: ‘Of course, everything, location, my hours, all of it.’
Jennifer will star alongside Brian Tyree Henry and Samira Wiley in the forthcoming film, which will premiere next month at the 2022 Toronto International Film Festival.
In addition to serving as the movie’s star, the actress is also listed as one of its producers.
