On Thursday, the mother and son duo stood out with their matching vibrant shoes, with Jennifer sporting neon green heels and Max in bright yellow pumps as they headed out in Los Angeles.

The 45-year-old pop princess showcased her toned pins in all its glory in a multi-coloured floral mini, as she protectively walked beside her six-year-old mini-me.

Her son looked adorable in a crisp white T-shirt and beige knee-length shorts, which he accessorised with black aviators.

Among those who got to indulge in the fun festivities were Khloe Kardashian and rapper French Montana, who lent his vocals to J-Lo’s recent single, I Luh Ya Papi.

JLo will also return to American Idol for the 14th season of the singing competition, premiering January on Fox.
