BTS Monuments: Beyond The Star also delves into the thoughts of each member throughout their journey and the growing pains they faced while making significant contributions to Korean music history.
Specifically, the members also stated that the failure of the song almost ended BTS, right before the group’s career began to flourish.
BTS’s long journey to the top almost ended prematurely because their comeback was not as expected.
RM revealed that they are riding high on the success of Boy In Luv and want to “win” their next comeback.
The pressure was so great that he felt the company “would be negatively affected if this did not go well”.
Leader RM shared in the movie “BTS Monuments: Beyond The Star”
Those fears have come true. BTS did not win first place with Danger .
The boys were even more upset when the song “left the charts in just one day”.
Jin said, “When we went downhill with ‘ Danger ‘ after ‘ Boy In Luv’ , the company also had financial difficulties.”
This failure almost marks the end of BTS’s journey. Jin shared their feelings at that time:
“It felt like it was the end for us.”

BTS members can’t help but compare themselves to other groups and how long it took them to get first place.
In addition to feeling “exhausted” and “impatient” to succeed, BTS members also felt frustrated and “argued a lot.”
Little did they know that their time to shine would happen faster than they thought. Things changed completely with their next comeback.
The boys put those experiences and emotions into the album The Most Beautiful Moment in Life, Part 1 and achieved the first victory they were working towards.
If BTS gave up because of Danger, they would have missed their golden opportunity with I NEED U and become the living legends they are today.
