Trying to deflect his post-surgery accessory, Neymar sported a diamond necklace and studs for his evening out.

The pair most recently called it quits in June last year, reportedly because the footballer had asked his on-off-girlfriend of five years to marry him.

However it was claimed the soap actress did not want to jeopardise her career and turned the heartbroken player down.

When asked if a reconciliation was possible at the end of 2017, Neymar did not hesitate to gush of his love for Bruna.

He said: ‘Yes I would go back with her. This would be controversial I know. But I have a lot of affection for her, I like her a lot. Who knows what tomorrow holds?’
