A fire destroyed the childhood home of Texas native and singing icon Beyonce Christmas morning.
Located in Houston’s Third Ward neighborhood, the two-story house on Rosedale Street started to burn 2 a.m. Monday, according to TV station KTRK.
The brick house had been home to the ‘Ring The Alarm’ songstress and her parents since her birth to the age of five.
‘This is where it all started– she lived there through 1986– the first five years of her life,’ Keith Rosen, who runs Houston Historical Tours, told DailyMail.com.
The Knowles Family moved out of the home decades ago, and has had several owners since then, Rosen explained.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation, fire officials stated.
Most of the damage to the property was on the second story, which was engulfed by the fire when firefighters arrived.
‘They did a great job. I’m going to say in less than 10 minutes, we had a really good grip on this fire,” Houston Fire Department Chief Justin Barnes told the local outlet.
Firefighters cut into the attic and eaves to make sure the fire was dead, reported Houston’s Fox station.
The current residents, a couple and two young children, escaped the flames unharmed

Keith Rosen has been offering Beyonce tours in Houston, which includes a stop at her former home on Rosedale Street, since 2017
Rosen, who has been running Beyonce tours to members of the BeyHive since 2017, the name of her fanbase, lamented the fire, adding it’s one of the two most popular stops on his tourist excursions.
‘People who go on these tours are Beyonce devotees, fanatics. Going to see that home where she first lived is like going to Bethlehem – the birthplace of their leader,’ he noted.
‘This is one of the two most popular stops on the tour, the other being the home on Parkwood, where the family lived after moving out of the Rosedale home. Almost 100% of people get out for me to take their photo, to take selfies.’
