A fan-made trailer for Deadpool 3 shared by Screen Culture in October 2023 imagines an epic multiversal storyline for Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman’s MCU debuts. The trailer features Deadpool and Wolverine being taken in by the Time Variance Authority, the multiversal organization first seen in Phase 4’s Loki season 1 and developed further in 2023’s celebrated Loki season 2. The pair must track down their own variants to stop a calamity from occurring, and since the TVA have been rumored to be appearing in Deadpool 3, along with a number of other multiversal heroes and cameos, it’s possible a story such as this could be told in Deadpool 3.

How Loki Season 2’s Avengers 5 Link Could Also Tie It To Deadpool 3

Loki season 2 came to an end on November 10, 2023, concluding Loki’s story in the MCU by having him become the steadfast and dedicated protector of the entire multiverse. This, as well as the reinvention of the TVA into a more protective organization, presumably connects directly to the suspected events of 2026’s Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, but could also envelope several other multiversal adventures prior to the MCU’s Phase 6. This includes 2024’s Deadpool 3, which is expected to be set somewhat in Fox’s X-Men Universe, and feature Deadpool and Wolverine traveling across timelines – which would certainly put the pair on the TVA’s radar.

Owen Wilson’s Mobius has been rumored to appear in Deadpool 3 for quite some time, and after recent set photos from the production of Deadpool 3 seemed to reveal TVA Minute Men, this speculation has only gained more traction. At the end of Loki season 2, Hunter B-15 and Mobius looked over a file detailing Multiverse Saga villain Kang the Conqueror and his variants, so they also possibly have files on other multiversal threats, including Deadpool and Wolverine. Details regarding the Phase 5 project haven’t yet become clear, but it’s possible that Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman’s MCU debuts in Deadpool 3 could see them go toe-to-toe with Loki’s​​​​​​​ TVA.
