THE final jersey worn by NFL star Tom Brady has sold for more than £1million at auction.
It set a new record for an American football top when the hammer came down at $1,391,000 — about £1.1million.

Dubbed the Greatest of all Time or the G.O.A.T, Brady won seven Super Bowls in 27 seasons.
He wore the Tampa Bay Buccaneers jersey against the Dallas Cowboys in a wildcard game, which they lost 31-14.
A month later, in February, Brady, 46, announced his retirement.
He wrote on the back of the grass-stained top, which sold at a Sotheby’s auction in Las Vegas: “My last game G.O.A.T out!”
It broke the record for the most expensive NFL shirt, previously held by the $1,212,000 or £950,000 paid for Joe Montana’s San Francisco 49ers top from Super Bowl XXIII.
A Sotheby’s spokesperson said: “Tom Brady’s Game-Worn and Signed Tampa Bay Buccaneers Jersey from his final game in the NFL took centre stage.
“Getting a new record for any football jersey at auction.
“Donning this white home jersey during the NFC Wildcard Playoff game against the Dallas Cowboys, Tom Brady would end a legendary and prolific 23-season career in the NFL.”
The item was snapped up by a mystery buyer.
