In American football, the spotlight is usually on the quarterback. Not so with the Kansas City Chiefs. Tight end Travis Kelce (34) is undoubtedly the big star there, and he has his flame to thank for that.
With pop icon Taylor Swift (34), the NFL player may currently have the most famous girlfriend in the world. And when she has time – Taylor is currently taking a break from her Eras tour – Swift also regularly stops by her lover’s games.
Like on December 17th at Travis’ football team’s away game against the New England Patriots, the former regular club of NFL legend Tom Brady (46). Kansas won the close duel 27:17. Also thanks to Taylor?
She not only sat in the stadium in Foxborough, but also gave her Travis a very special lucky charm before the game: As a noticeable red spot on Kelce’s neck revealed, Taylor apparently gave him a smooch shortly before the game started.
This has not been confirmed, however. But what speaks against a scratch and in favor of a smooch: In photos that show Kelce warming up a few minutes earlier, his neck was still bare. Suspicious for some, crystal clear for Swifties: Taylor briefly had her lips involved here!.
Did your friend Taylor give you a quick smack? It definitely helped! And the Chiefs urgently needed this victory, after all they had suffered two defeats before.
In the stands, Swift gave it her all and cheered Travis on with all her might.
She is much more than just a player’s wife: On “CBS Mornings”, Chiefs quarterback and Kelce buddy Patrick Mahomes (28) already named Taylor Swift a full team member.
He about his teammate’s relationship: “At the beginning there were a few jokes here and there. Now she’s just part of the Chiefs Kingdom and part of the team.”
According to “PageSix”, Taylor will soon become a real Kelce; the exceptional singer and the NFL star are said to be already planning their engagement.
But even with Taylor at his side, not everything works. Most recently, Kansas suffered another defeat and clearly lost to the Las Vegas Raiders on Boxing Day.
