New Marvel art brings all 11 Spider-Man movie villains together across the multiverse from Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Tom Holland’s films.
Every live-action Spider-Man movie villain joins forces in new Marvel fan art, showing what a massive team-up could look like on the big screen. While several actors have gotten to play Peter Parker in the Spider-Man movies, there have also been numerous villains who have gotten to come to life from page to screen. In some cases, certain enemies have been reimagined more than once as Sony has three continuities of the web-slinger
While the upcoming Spider-Man 4 will likely be the next appearance of Peter Parker, it remains to be seen when the movie will actually be released. In the meantime, Art of Time Travel shared new artwork that depicts the biggest multiverse crossover between the Spider-Man franchises yet.
Even though there have been other Spider-Man villains in the various series, the artwork focuses specifically on the characters who actually suited up in the end. The Spider-Man artwork features the following antagonists from Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Tom Holland’s respective films:
What Is Next For Spider-Man Villains In Live-Action?
In 2024, the next installment will be the Madame Web movie that will focus on Cassandra Webb and multiple Spider-heroes. Ezekiel Sims, a niche Spider-Man side-character, is being reimagined as a villain and donning a costume very similar to the web-crawler. Why he is going after Julia Carpenter, Mattie Franklin, and Anya Corazon has yet to be revealed.
Next will be Aaron Taylor Johnson’s Kraven the Hunter movie, which will imagine the titular character as an anti-hero, which has been a big focus for Sony’s Spider-Man Universe. Kraven the Hunter will also feature three additional Spider-Man villains, as The Foreigner, Chameleon, and Rhino will take part in the story. Finally, in October 2024, Tom Hardy’s Eddie Brock trilogy will be completed, with Venom 3 currently being in production.
While Spider-Man 4 is in the works at Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures, it is unclear which foe from Peter’s mythology will be used. With the big interest that Vincent D’Onofrio has shown in playing Kingpin in Spider-Man 4, it wouldn’t be shocking if Echo and Daredevil: Born Again sets him up for the big screen at some point. Hopefully, 2024 will reveal what else is in store for Spider-Man villains on the big screen.
