Chiefs took a 25-17 win over the Bengals on Sunday

Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs are reveling in their triumph after securing the AFC West division title in a decisive Week 17 showdown against the Cincinnati Bengals.

This victory not only solidifies their dominance but also ensures a coveted home playoff game during the upcoming Wild Card Round.

In the customary fashion, Mahomes‘ unwavering supporters, his wife Brittany and their daughter Sterling Skye, were present to witness the exhilarating game at Arrowhead Stadium. Brittany, a devoted mother of two, took to Instagram to share delightful snapshots from their memorable day at the stadium.

The Netflix sports documentary, Quarterback, unveils the endearing pre-game routine where Mahomes insists on receiving a kiss from his wife, Brittany, during home games. In Week 17, the two-time Most Valuable Player received not only the customary kiss but also heartfelt well-wishes from his daughter Sterling.

Patrick and Brittany are an NFL power couple

The Mahomes family’s presence undoubtedly fueled the two-time Super Bowl champion to deliver a stellar performance.

Mahomes showcased his prowess with 21 completions out of 29 attempts, accumulating 245 yards, one touchdown, and, notably, zero interceptions. With this impressive display, the Kansas City Chiefs have secured a spot in the playoffs for the eighth consecutive season.

Reflecting on their journey, Brittany and Patrick Mahomes share a deep connection that dates back to high school. Their love story culminated in a proposal at an Arrowhead Stadium suite in 2020, followed by a joyous wedding ceremony in March 2022.

Their family expanded with the arrival of Sterling Skye on February 20, 2021, and a year later, they welcomed their son Patrick “Bronze” Mahomes III. The Mahomes family currently resides in an expansive eight-acre Missouri estate featuring a pond, a par-3 golf course, and even a football field.

Beyond their roles as parents, Brittany Mahomes, with her background in professional soccer and a college sports career, understands the physical and mental commitment required in her husband’s athletic endeavors. In addition to caring for their children, she serves as a licensed physical therapist.

The Mahomes couple, endowed with the athletic gene, has invested a portion of their wealth in various sports ventures. Patrick Mahomes has stakes in the Kansas City Royals in Major League Baseball and, following Brittany‘s lead, supports the Kansas City Current in the National Women’s Soccer League. Notably, both Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce are part of an investment group that acquired the Alpine Formula 1 racing team.

Expanding their sports empire, Patrick and Brittany Mahomes have invested in Major League Soccer’s Sporting Kansas City and a professional pickleball franchise based in Miami. The financial backbone for these ventures primarily stems from Patrick‘s lucrative ten-year, 450 million contract extension with the Chiefs. A recent restructuring of the deal further solidifies his financial standing, with an additional $43.3 million guaranteed from 2023 to 2026. The Mahomes duo is undeniably building a formidable legacy both on and off the field.
