I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here’s Sam Thompson compared Jamie Lynn Spears being homesick over her kids to ‘missing his two cats’ on Tuesday night’s episode.
Britney Spears‘ sister, 32, has been having a hard time missing her kids, Ivey, five, and daughter, Maddie, 15 and broke down several times on the latest instalment.
She said she felt things were ‘overwhelming’ as her kids weren’t ‘close’ after travelling to Australia from her home in the US.
Made In Chelsea star Sam attempted to comfort her as he told her he was missing his pets at home in a hilarious moment.
He said as she cried: ‘I get it man, I’ve got two cats at home – Albus and Cedric – little fluffy men. Know what I mean? So I get it. Not kids, but I get it.’

Sam, 31, bought his cats with girlfriend Zara McDermott last year and often shares clips and photos of them on social media.

She was left heartbroken after she was failed to be reunited with her luxury item which was a photo of her children.

After a mini challenge that saw her campmates sheepishly return without the photo Jamie Lynn stormed into the bush telegraph declaring she was ready to leave the jungle.
Sobbing she said: ‘I just want to see my kids’ only for baffled viewers to ask if the American, who is mother to daughters Maddie, 15, and five-year-old Ivy, had ever even seen the show which she signed up for.
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one wrote: ‘I don’t think Jamie Lynn has ever watched this show before’.
While a second wrote: ‘Jamie Lynn having a diva moment. Why come on the show if you can’t handle being away from your kids?’.
Someone else quipped: ‘If Jamie Lynn walks now, she will have been in the camp nearly as long as I’ve spent watching the adverts’.
And: ‘Has Jamie Lynn ever seen the show? Does she do anything but cry? Jesus Christ shut up’.
Another said: ‘Jamie Lynn what she all about, get a grip drama queen’.
And in reference to her estranged relationship with Britney one viewer typed: ‘Oh put a sock in it Jamie Lynn, you’re not the only one missing your family. Thought you didn’t speak to half of the anyway’.
Earlier in the episode she confided in her co-stars Sam and Danielle Harold for emotional support.
Jamie Lynn fell to tears after admitting she feels she is ‘so emotionally weak’ in camp.
Speaking to Danielle and Sam, she disclosed: ‘I don’t know how I’m so emotionally weak.’
Keeping spirits in keep lifted, Danielle told her: ‘You’re so strong. This is tough babe, tough. So tough. It’s not easy.’
Jamie Lynn added: ‘Why am I crying so much? Josie [Gibson} has a baby at home…’

Sam comforted: ‘It’s important to remember you’ve come from a whole different continent, you don’t know anyone here, it’s hard. It’s real hard.’
Danielle added: ‘Look at the s*** you’ve been through in your life, right? This, a little bit of rain in the jungle, nothing.’
Jamie Lynn replied: ‘But at least all that s*** I could go home to my babies every night, you know? That’s it, that’s all I need in life. It feels a little bit overwhelming. They’re not even close.
‘I’ve got to just do it. I don’t know why I’m being such a baby.’
Later Jamie Lynn went into the Bush Telegraph and positively added: ‘You have your campmates pull you up and you’re like, ‘I can do this, I can do this’.’
