Tiger Woods‘ son Charlie Woods not only shows similar mannerisms on the greens but also seems to have the same humor in replying at press conferences. In the ongoing PNC Championship, the 14-year-old gave a savage reply when asked how their day went.
He replied that it was all well, but there was not enough birdies, “We just suck at putting.” His hilariously straight-cut reply even made the GOAT nod at him smiling, as he said “That sums it up right there.” The father and son duo not only managed to give a curt reply to the question asked but also amused the golfing community with their remark.
Over the past three years, Charlie has shown remarkable progress in his golf games. He not only stunned the world with his 2020 PNC debut but also surpassed the GOAT in the high school state golf competition in Florida.
Although in recent competition they struggled 8-under, Tiger Woods mentioned how special this year’s PNC Championship was. Not only did Woods get to play with his son, but also his daughter Sam Alexis Woods debuted as his dad’s caddy.

Their day ended with the duo lurking behind Matt Kuchar and his son Cameron as they made an eagle and 13 birdies in 57. They built a remarkable three-shot lead ahead of other competitors including Woods’ team.
Tiger Woods thrilled to have both son and daughter participate in 2023 PNC Championship
Tiger Woods remarked that this year’s PNC Championship held a special seat in his heart. Not only did he get to accompany Charlie on the greens, but he also got his daughter Sam Alexis Woods right by his side. Woods said, “it was more special to do it in a tournament like this.”

He said that it was the “first time she’s ever done this” so it made the day way more special. “Sam was fantastic,” he noted. She was seen driving the cart with expertise and also standing right by the bag to help Woods whenever needed.
Being able to walk by the side of his two children inside the rope “have been more special for me” than focusing solely on winning the competition. The PNC Championship will wrap up shortly, and following Woods and Charlie’s performance on the greens, the fans are excited to see more of the duo.
Furthermore, it’s a relief for everyone to see Tiger Woods walking on the greens without limping following his gruesome injury in a 2021 accident. He has promised to appear in a game once a month in 2024, to keep up with both professional appearances and rack up OWGR points.
