Social media is nowhere near done analyzing the faces of some of the most famous celebrities in the world – and once again, their noses seem to be one of the biggest talking points! There seems to be an endless discussion on whether certain celebrities have changed their noses, either by going under the knife or by going for less invasive non-surgical rhinoplasty options.
The internet also likes to look at the noses of celebrities who have admitted to going under the knife (Khloé Kardashian, we’re looking at you!) so no celeb is safe! Quite a few A-listers’ noses were discussed on a @beauty.false Instagram post on August 4th, with Anne Hathaway’s before and after picture being one of the most talked-about in the comments section. Did Anne Hathaway Have A Nose Job?
While some of the celebs featured in the @beauty.false post have actually confessed to getting nose jobs, such as the Good American founder, for example, many others haven’t – including the Devil Wears Prada actress!
The before picture on the @beauty.false post was taken in 2002, just one year after The Princess Diaries came out, while the after was taken in 2023. And there *are* a few differences in the 41-year-old Oscar winner’s nose, as it looks a little slimmer in the 2023 picture, with the tip also looking more defined. But what did the internet think?
“Anne Hathaway is the only one I’m not sure about,” one fan honestly wrote in the comments section, which many others seemed to agree with, as they wondered whether makeup (particularly contouring and highlighting) could have contributed to her nose’s slimmer appearance in the 2023 picture.

“Some contour using makeup,” speculated another fan, who also noted that “She has very little visible face makeup in the ‘before.’” “It looks like her MUA just contoured her nose,” agreed another. “Well in these two photos the nose is exactly the same. One just has contouring that is done when makeup is applied and the other is without makeup at all,” another concurred. “I can’t decide if it’s makeup shading or surgery,” said another fan, as someone else said: “I think maybe she just lost weight. Also when you’re younger your face is naturally ‘puffy.’”
However, there were many other fans who felt that the Eileen actress definitely *did* have a nose job, with one saying she “thinned out the nose and did something with the lips.” “Look at the difference in her nostrils, pretty obvious you can see the stitch mark,” commented another fan, as another added: “Her nose was much wider before. She did it.”
Another fan invited others to “look at her bridge between her eyes,” for evidence of a nose job, while someone else said, “It’s very subtle, but she did it. Also Zendaya and Margot Robbie have very subtle nose jobs.” Another agreed, adding, “In my opinion she has. Nose jobs don’t always have to be these obvious transformations, the sign of good work is subtle changes and improving the nose you were born with. I googled Anne, saw more before and afters, and to me it seems quite obvious she’s had some work done on her nose. Filler also counts as work!”
