Jennie (BLACKPINK) – Female K-Pop solo idol holds the highest position on Billboard Hot 100

The soundtrack song “The Idol” performed by Jennie continued to climb on the Billboard Hot 100 chart this week.

Billboard has announced the list of songs reaching the top of this week’s Billboard Hot 100 chart. Among them, One of the Girls performed by Jennie – a member of the group BLACKPINK, The Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp continued to stand firm in week two at number 69.

With her new achievement, Jennie has officially become the female K-Pop solo idol holding the highest position on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in history. Previously, this record belonged to group member Rosé with the solo song On the Ground at position 70.

In fact, One of the Girls is one of the soundtrack songs in the controversial television series The Idol. Although the series has ended, it will be December 8, 2023 that this song will be officially released through Republic Records.
