Cotton On Foundation celebrated their partnership with the Oscar winner’s non-profit organization, the Born This Way Foundation, which she founded in 2012.
‘We’re so proud to partner with @btwfoundation & @ladygaga to build a kinder world where every young person can thrive,’ Cotton On Foundation wrote on Instagram.
They added: ‘From now until Oct 10, 100% of net proceeds from Cotton On Foundation products & donations will support Born This Way Foundation in sharing mental health resources and inspiring a global movement of kind action.’
While speaking about their collaboration, the Poker Face singer gushed that ‘it means so much to’ her ‘to have Cotton On [Foundation] as a partner for this global campaign.’
‘They believe so much in Born This Way Foundation’s mission of building a kinder and braver world,’ she raved. ‘And, we have so many new initiatives around kindness… [and] mental health.’
Gaga concluded: ‘I can’t think of a better way to kick this off by celebrating things that we all love together. I hope that this worldwide campaign will spread a message of love, kindness and bravery to the global community.’
In another video, posted by Cotton On Foundation, the House of Gucci actress said ‘this generation of young people has taught’ her ‘that it’s really important to listen.’
‘I think listening to young people tell their stories is invaluable,’ she gushed. ‘It helps us learn how we can better help them. I think being there for someone is a real privilege.’

‘I think that we look at it in a lot of ways as doing something for somebody else,’ the performer explained. ‘But, I think you actually do yourself a kindness when you’re there for someone else because it reminds you to be humble, it reminds you to take a beat.’
‘I know for me being there for other people is a part of what makes me feel strong and it also is what makes me feel like I’m living a life that has a lot of love in it,’ she continued.
For more than a decade, the Born This Way Foundation has trained more than 80,000 in teen mental health first aid, donated more than $3 million to nonprofit partners and organized more than 200 service events.
According to their site, the foundation ‘aims to make kindness cool, validate the emotions of young people, and eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health.’
The global fashion and lifestyle brand, Cotton On, created their own foundation to stand up against inequality.
Their goal is to raise $5 million by partnering with the Born This Way Foundation.
