Conor McGregor put on an animated display as he enjoyed a raucous night out with Johnny Depp where the pair sipped on whisky from the boxer’s own drinks brand.

The duo looked like they were having a great time with friends and family at a bar in Rome where McGregor recently holidayed with his fiancée Dee Devlin.
McGregor is continuing to brush off his most recent scandal, after being accused of punching an Italian DJ during the trip, while Johnny has been keeping a low profile after his bitter public spat and court case with ex-wife Amber Heard.

He captioned the post: ‘Myself and John Depp enjoying a fine glass of Proper Twelve on the rocks!
‘Thank you for your kindness and hospitality towards my friends and family Johnny! A proper gentleman!’
McGregor was named the number one earning athlete in the world by Forbes earlier this year after he sold a majority stake in Proper 12 whiskey in a €497 million deal.

It comes after earlier this week an Italian DJ launched a ‘criminal claim’ against Conor after last week alleging the MMA fighter punched him at a party in Rome – during the same trip he met Johnny.
Francesco Facchinetti accused McGregor of breaking his nose on October 16, alleging on social media it came ‘without motivation’.

And chatting to ESPN, the 41-year-old DJ said he has filed a complaint under Italian law.
Speaking to the broadcaster, the DJ said: ‘It’s something about ethics, and Conor is f*****g dangerous.
‘This is a problem. He can do better than this, he can be better than this. What happens, he punches a guy tomorrow and that guy dies? What happens? What happens to MMA?’

He added that his criminal claim is not motivated by money.
Facchinetti’s lawyer also spoke with ESPN to say that under Italian law, criminal investigations are not made public, so he has not seen the police report.
But he did confirm that his client had lodged a criminal claim against McGregor.
MailOnline approached representatives of McGregor for comment at the time.
Deep in conversation: The pair looked like they were getting on swimmingly as they chatted on the night out
It came after the Italian DJ revealed how a pleasant evening of drinking at a hotel with Conor ended with him being punched in the face.
Francesco said he had a broken nose and squashed vertebrae in his neck after the unprovoked attack by the MMA fighter at a party exclusive Regis Hotel in Rome.
Speaking exclusively to MailOnline, a shaken Mr Fracchinetti said: ‘One minute we were talking in a friendly manner and the next he just lashed out at me.
‘We were having a drink together and everything seemed fine when suddenly he changed. I was a few inches from him when he punched me full in the face with his right hand.

‘I went flying backwards and crashed into a table.
‘I was stunned. There was a lot of blood, and my wife became hysterical and screaming. One of the bodyguards tried to calm her down and two people immediately jumped on McGregor and dragged him away.
‘I could not believe that he had hit me. I must admit I was worried about what he would do next, but he was quickly taken away. Everyone was very shocked and upset. No one could not believe what he had done. It was just so unfair and uncalled for.’

Showing off his cut and swollen lip, the DJ said he met up with McGregor after he and his wife had been with the American actress Bella Thorne at Soho House in Rome after attending the premier of her new movie ‘Time is Up’.
McGregor allegedly texted Bella saying he wanted to meet up for a party so Mr Facchinetti and his wife dropped off their 10-year-old daughter at home and got to the hotel at midnight.
‘The party was in a meeting room and there was lots of vodka and whiskey. The hotel even opened the kitchen to supply food. McGregor had four Irish friends with him who were very friendly and we exchanged mobile numbers. It was all going great and we were having a brilliant time.
‘McGregor was very talkative chatting about this and that for three hours and the whole group was enjoying each other’s company.
Oh dear: It comes after earlier this week an Italian DJ (right) launched a ‘criminal claim’ against Conor after last week alleging the MMA fighter punched him at a party in Rome – during the same trip he met Johnny.
‘We talked about Rome. Italy, and how he was taking delivery of his Lamborghini boat. I was very friendly. He would pour me a whisky and I’d pour him a drink. It was a good atmosphere. The situation was very calm and friendly’
But Mr Facchinetti said the mood of the host suddenly soured when around 3am when Bella and her husband, singer Ben Mascolo, announced they wanted to leave.
‘Bella said she had to get an early train to go to Milan for a premiere and she needed to get some sleep. I said the party could continue and would stay with my wife. That’s when he flipped. He was completely out of control. He seemed like he wanted to kill me for absolutely no reason. Bella was stunned, she couldn’t believe what happened. Thank goodness his bodyguards were there to take him away.’
He added: ‘There was absolutely no reason for him to lash out at me, it was totally unprovoked. He is a bully.
‘I have been to the police station to make a complaint of assault and I hope they take action. I did nothing to deserve this.
‘I do not want him to go to prison, but he has to learn that even though he is rich and famous he can’t go round hitting people for no reason.’
Mr Facchinetti revealed details of the alleged assault in a social media post to his one million followers where he showed off his cut lip.
He later visited a hospital for treatment and had a surgical collar fitted for his neck injury.

‘If this goes all the way to a court then it will be an example to him to change his ways. He has to be controlled and now what he is doing,’ he added.
McGregor was in Rome with his family for the baptism of his son Rian at the Vatican. He has also taken delivery of his £2.9m Lamborghini superyacht.

Two years ago, McGregor was fined £850 for assaulting an elderly man in an Irish pub who had refused his offer of a drink.
He was spared prison by a Dublin court after expressing remorse and pleading guilty to assault.
In 2018 McGregor was charged with three counts of assault and one count of criminal mischief after police said he attacked a charter bus in New York carrying UFC fighters. He pleaded guilty to a reduced disorderly conduct charge in that case.

Meanwhile Johnny has kept a relatively low profile since coming under fire for his bitter spat with his ex Amber Heard.
In July 2020, he lost a high-profile case at the High Court in London, after The Sun newspaper described him as a ‘wife beater’ and he sued.
His ex-wife Amber filed for divorce in 2016, accusing him of verbal and physical abuse, and she testified in London.
Depp lost his lucrative role in the Fantastic Beasts franchise in the aftermath of the case.

Back in the U.S., Depp has recently won the right to proceed with a $50 million defamation lawsuit against Heard.
In August, a Virginia judge ruled that he can proceed with the litigation, based on a 2018 Washington Post op-ed she wrote saying she was a domestic violence survivor.
She did not mention Depp in the story, though she publicly accused him of abusing her in their 2016 split.
The actor is trying to clear his name after losing a defamation suit against The Sun.
His U.S. suit, filed in Fairfax County, Virginia, accuses Heard of creating a ‘hoax’ account of abuse.
Heard had requested the libel suit against her, filed in March 2019, be thrown out, claiming the ruling in the UK case should swing any new cases in her favor because they both relate to domestic abuse allegations against Depp.
But Judge Penny Azcarate ruled the statements made by The Sun and Heard were ‘inherently different’, and said the case should proceed.
