Like many F1 stars, Max Verstappen, 24, lives in the glittering principality of Monaco, famed for its luxurious surroundings and tax-free benefits. Max resides in a super-chic $16million apartment – but he doesn’t own it!

It’s likely Max’s Red Bull salary is large enough to afford to buy his own home, but instead, he chooses to rent it, according to reports. Perhaps this indicates that Max doesn’t plan to live in the sunny haven of Monaco forever. Monaco is a popular place for racing drivers to live, especially during their younger years.

Not only is it the unofficial home of racing, but it’s also a place where people can live tax-free – bonus! Fellow racers, Lewis Hamilton, Valtteri Bottas, Charles Leclerc and most recently, Lando Norris, also live in Monaco.

Staying in peak physical fitness is key when you’re a racing driver which is why having an at-home gym is an important feature for most F1 stars. Max takes advantage of the 300 days of sunshine that Monaco boasts and completes his workouts outdoors. He has plenty of equipment including kettlebell weights and a frame for bungee pulls – and we’re sure that scenic view helps with motivation!

The Dutch driver revealed his chic lounge area when modelling a Red Bull branded electric scooter. Max has a cowhide style rug placed on his wooden floors, a modern black coffee table and a unique animal artwork. There are also large planters adding greenery to the space.

While packing for a trip away, the racing star revealed his stylish bedroom with a huge, padded headboard with geometric detail and matching black bed linen. The floors are also wooden and a glimpse into Max’s hallway reveals he has a floor-length mirror propped against the wall.
