First, Khiem drew a sketch with a garment thermal pen (this thermal pen can be easily erased when ironed). Then you start drawing strokes, adding color, adding color…

In addition, Nhat Khiem also tried his hand at embroidering on dry leaves and leaf bones. Embroidery on leaves is much more difficult than on fabric because it is rough and cannot be treated or sprayed with glue. Leaves easily rot, break, tear and are difficult to embroider because they cannot be stretched on the frame and must be held with one hand to embroider with the other.
