So, the much-awaited comeback is finally happening! General Hospital spoilers have confirmed that fan favorite Steve Burton is reviving his Jason Morgan role in GH. And fans couldn’t be happier. Because – a) we love him so much, b) there is still so much left to tell in his tale. So now that the big question, whether or not Jason will return, has been answered. The next pressing question is – how? And we might have the answer!

General Hospital Spoilers: Jason Returns With Amnesia, Brings Trouble In Carly And Sam’s Romance

Kidnapped and held captive by a big evil PC villain has been GH’s go-to solution for years. General Hospital spoilers confirm that the makers tapped into that formula to explain Ethan’s absence. But the problem is, there is no big evil villain to pin Jason’s kidnapping on right now. The fall guy – Victor Cassadine, is gone. And the Cassadine evil queen-to-be, Charlotte, is just too young for that! So that leaves us with the only other plausible solution – amnesia!

GH/ Could Jason have amnesia?

In fact, General Hospital spoilers are proof that the amnesia curve is becoming the makers’ next favorite diversion after kidnappings. We recently saw it with Ned to give Nina’s SEC story more legroom. And then, of course, how can we not mention Esme’s amnesia? If her fall in the waters gave her such a bad one. Then, Jason had a whole cave collapse over him! So, of course, he must have suffered serious injuries.

Perhaps he was in a coma somewhere all this while. And then woke up with amnesia. General Hospital spoilers say Jason will return on the screen very soon. So, maybe one of the PC residents will bump into him during travel and then bring him back home. Or he traces his life back to PC following a fragment of memory that came back. In fact, it would be so interesting if he returned and remembered only a certain part of his life.

GH/ Jason remembers Carly or Sam

For instance, his romance with either Carly or Sam! General Hospital spoilers say both of them are in for some relationship complications down the line.
