Natalie Portman and Rihanna Just Majorly Fan-Girled Over Each Other

It’s not every day that we commoners bump into an A-lister on the street, but celebs often run in the same circles, making unexpected meet-ups more likely (especially when it’s Fashion Week). Natalie Portman and Rihanna, two icons in their own right, ran into each other following Dior’s Haute Couture Spring-Summer 2024 show in Paris on Monday, and their interaction was surprisingly relatable.

On Monday, a video capturing the stars’ interaction started going viral online. In the clip, the two stars meet up in a parking lot after the show, share a hug, and start totally fangirling over each other. Portman tells Rihanna, “I love you,” while Rihanna quips, “I am a fucking fan.” In a shocked tone, Portman questions, “Are you kidding me?”

“You’re one of the hottest bitches in Hollywood forever,” Rihanna gushes. “You do the most innocent look, and I’m like, ugh!” Portman then says, “I’m going to faint. I’m going to blackout. I love you, and I listen to your music all the time. And you’re just such a queen, thank you.”

The two then posed for a few photos together while Rihanna continued to fawn over Portman, telling her she doesn’t “get excited about anybody,” implying that Portman is the exception. “You’re making my year,” Portman finished.

Rihanna and Portman (who’s been a longtime ambassador of Dior) both attended the show in their own take on the workwear aesthetic. The May December actress looked flirty and chic in an oversized black blazer, a matching vest, a beaded fringe miniskirt, and coordinating platform sandals.

For her part, Rihanna looked sophisticated in a taffeta pencil skirt and belted jacket set that she unexpectedly styled with a matching trucker hat. White pointy-toed, ankle-strap heels, gloves, and a Dior handbag completed her ensemble.
