The 25-year-old stepped out in the Big Apple wearing faded jeans and a grey cropped sweater which displayed her flat abs.

The model completed the outfit with a large black leather jacket, thick soled black loafers and dark sunglasses.

The influencer recently reached out to her fans, thanking them for their responses to her long video, explaining the health condition that lead her to suffer a mini-stroke in March.

‘Thank you for all the kind messages,’ she wrote, ‘and thank you everyone who reached out after {Wednesday’s} video.’

The Vogue France cover model has taken a few days off from the road to travel to New York, where she spent some time with her best friend, Kendall Jenner, at fashion journalist Derek Blasberg’s birthday party.

On Monday, the two friends planned to meet again, on the red carpet at the 2022 Met Gala.

Monday will be Hailey’s seventh appearance at the star-studded event where celebrities and designers pull out all the stops when it comes to fashion.

The 2022 theme is In America: An Anthology Of Fashion, so the gamut is wide open when it comes to fashion choices.

‘The stories really reflect the evolution of American style, but they also explore the work of individual tailors, dress-makers, and designers,’  according to Andrew Bolton, head curator at the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute.
