She switched up her usual risque style for lashings of old school glamour on the Grammys red carpet.
But to host her afterparty at a strip club, Lizzo ditched her floorlength Versace gown for a thigh-baring zebra print Miscreants, London dress.
Never knowingly underdressed, the outfit was the perfect choice for the pop star of the moment – who had opened the Grammys with a bubbly, crowd-pleasing medley of her hit tracks Cuz I Love You and Truth Hurts.
Lizzo’s afterparty choice of a ruffled gown was cut low at the front and back, but raised to the waist at the sides, suggesting a lack of any underwear.
The 31-year-old accessorised with a glittering jeweled Gucci hairslide and blue boots, as she arrived at Crazy Girls Strip Club in West Hollywood.
Among her fellow guests at the bash were model Winnie Harlow, Rosalia, Lil Nas X and Ezra Miller.
Vodka time: Lizzo served Absolut at her bash
Also changing up his outfit was Lil Nas, who like Lizzo was celebrating his first Grammy win. He ditched his bold fuschia pink Versace suit, complete with cowboy hat, for a rather low key combo of North Face jacket and orange T-shirt.
He then paired the look with some black Dr. Martens boots.
While Lizzo had a whopping eight nominations, on the night she took home three golden trophy – Best Pop Solo Performance for Truth Hurts, Traditional R & B Performance for Jerome and Urban Contemporary Album for Cuz I Love You.
Accepting her Solo Performance Grammy for her self-love anthem Truth Hurts, Lizzo became emotional.
Model life: Winnie Harlow was among the guests at the party
Old school: Winnie went for a Louis Vuitton bag and a fur stole
Celebrating the power of music, she told her peers: ‘You guys create beautiful music. You guys create connectivity.
‘We need to continue to reach out. This is the beginning of making music that moves people again — making music that liberates people.’
Likewise, Lil Nas was a winner, in his case for Music Video and also Group Performance, with both gongs awarded for his breakout superhit, Old Town Road.
He performed the anthem at the show, bringing out everyone from K-pop superstars BTS, to ‘big’ Nas to join him.
Also at Lizzo’s party was Rosalia, celebrating her award for Latin Rock, Urban or Alternative Album.
