Meet Baby Winston, a charming podenco who was once a hunting dog. Unfortunately, his jaw has been fractured on both sides, and we are unsure how it happened. This injury was enough for his previous owner, a hunter, to want him gone. However, Winston is a young dog with an entire lifetime ahead of him! To ensure his quality of life, he urgently requires jaw surgery.
At just four months old, poor Winston had already suffered unimaginable abuse at the hands of a cruel hunter. He was treated as nothing more than a disposable tool, tossed aside when he was no longer useful. But we refuse to let Winston be cast aside like garbage. With the help of our community, Winston will undergo surgery and receive the love and care he deserves. We’re committed to supporting him every step of the way as he learns to thrive and heal.
After much anticipation, Winston is undergoing surgery. Unfortunately, he has necrotic tissue in his mouth that may lead to complications after the operation. Despite the risk, the surgery cannot be delayed any longer. Let’s all hope for the best and keep our candles lit for luck. This procedure is expected to be demanding and time-consuming.
Great news about Winston! After undergoing a complex and lengthy surgery, he has been undergoing thorough check-ups to monitor his progress. I’m happy to report that there are no signs of infection and he’s happily exploring the hospital. Today, he was sedated for a detailed examination, which confirmed that he’s doing well. Keep it up, Winston, you’ve got this!
The little pup is handling everything smoothly and has adjusted quite well to his temporary home in the clinic as he recovers from surgery. Winston is doing exceptionally well and we hope to have him join us at the Great House soon!
Winston has finally left the hospital and is now settling into his new home at the Big House. This is the first time he can roam around freely and discover things just like other dogs do. Witnessing his joy as he discovers and enjoys his new environment is truly heartwarming.
We’re thrilled that this is just the start of his exciting journey! Many thanks for helping us make it a reality.
