It’s an incredible thing when you get to work for a 26-year-old who loves design almost as much as I do,’ says interior designer Martyn Lawrence Bullard of his renovation of Kylie Jenner’s latest home.
The house, located in the gated community of Hidden Hills, California, is a rambling modern structure with expanses of glass that capture the view beyond and flood the space with light.
It is also close to the homes of Kylie’s high-profile siblings and their mother, Kris Jenner.

Bullard wanted to create a home comprised of equal parts glamour and comfort. His mission: to personalise the space to reflect the vibrant energy of Jenner, while subtly incorporating references to her brand.
‘I had leather custom-dyed to upholster her dining chairs in graduated shades of pink that match the tones of lipsticks in her cosmetic kits,’ he says. ‘Bronze consoles were also sculpted to look like giant molten drips of gold,’ in another nod to Jenner’s passion for eye-catching cosmetics.
The dining room has custom-dyed chairs in shades that match the pink lipsticks in Jenner’s make-up collection. Damien Hirst artworks fill the walls. Find a variety of oversized pendant lights at roche-bobois.com
The sitting area in the bedroom has custom shearling-covered furniture. Subtle pink and rose gold-dusted wallpaper serves as a backdrop to the Damien Hirst prints on the walls. For a similar sofa and chairs try uk.jonathanadler.com
Many of the rooms were also converted to specific spaces, such as the handbag room created to house hundreds of bags, including some of the world’s rarest Hermès Birkins.

Jenner’s VIP dressing room – a separate space from her closet – was designed with floating Lucite wardrobes to store her most iconic outfits from Met Galas and advertising campaigns.
The bar area is dominated by a portrait of Jenner – the work of street artist Alec Monopoly. See also the Saint Laurent surfboard and Beau Dunn condom art. Try cultfurniture.com for leopard-spot stools
Shoe towers and sunglasses stands were crafted in glass, suede and chrome, alongside swivelling mirrors on polished-steel bases for dress fittings. Then you have Jenner’s ‘glam room’, where she stores her make-up and films her TikTok and Instagram tutorials.
Statement artwork completes the look while presenting a window on to Jenner’s tastes. Damien Hirst’s butterfly art was among the first acquisitions for her home (the insects are important to her).
In the games room/sitting room area: a Tracey Emin neon light sculpture and Warhol Dollar Sign art. The 70s sofa is by mid-century-modern master Milo Baughman; the tables are vintage Karl Springer. Slogan neon art is available at godsownjunkyard.co.uk
Jenner also loves Marilyn Monroe and invested in iconic imagery by Andy Warhol, as well as edgier pieces by Jean-Michel Basquiat.
The result? A space that is bold, vibrant and – most importantly – fun.
