Fourth-generation girl group members of BLACKPINK have risen to global stars who dominate not only the music space but whose influence has reached fashion, film, television, the beauty industry, and more.

In 2023, BLACKPINK’s Jennie made her television acting debut in the HBO limited series The Idol. The series was co-created by Canadian singer-songwriter Abel Tesfaye (also known as The Weeknd), Euphoria‘s Sam Levinson, and Reza Fahim.
Jennie’s role made her the first Korean idol to debut in an HBO series, and the show featured fellow prominent industry names such as Abel Tesfaye, Lily-Rose Depp, Troye Sivan, Hari Nef, Dan Levy, and more.
It seems Jennie is still keeping in touch with her co-stars, as she was recently spotted in attendance at The Weeknd’s birthday party in L.A.
Though the BLACKPINK star herself hasn’t yet shared photos from what was undoubtedly a memorable night at the Los Angeles Theatre, influencer and founder of Tohmé Jewelry, Mimi Tohmé, luckily shared a few photos from the lavish event on her Instagram, which included photos with Jennie!
