Anne Hathaway Looks Amazing in Versace Clothes Claudia Schiffer made her Albies debut in Milan

Both ladies looked stunning in the checkered green design

Anne Hathaway arrived at the Albies in an already iconic dress — the same one Claudia Schiffer wore when she recently returned to the runway during the Versace spring 2024 show in Milan!

On Thursday, The Devil Wears Prada star, 40, attended the Clooney Foundation For Justice’s The Albies in a strappy floor-length dress.

The slinky form-fitting design featured a green and metallic checkerboard print with mint green lace accentuating her neckline and midsection.

Hathaway smiled for photos in minimalist makeup and paired her eye-catching look with silver jewelry. She also wore silver closed-toe heels with a bow on the front — which Schiffer rocked as well while on the runway.

The German supermodel, 53, debuted the look at Milan Fashion Week.

“Today during #MilanFashionWeek, @donatella_versace debuted her spring 2024 collection to a star-studded audience,” Schiffer and Vogue shared in a collaborative Instagram post last week. “One of the most special guests? Legendary supermodel @claudiaschiffer, who closed the show wearing a dazzling green gown.”

It was Schiffer’s first time strutting down the catwalk since she joined Carla Bruni, Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, and Helena Christensen in metallic gold dresses (and joined by Donatella Versace herself) to close the fashion powerhouse’s spring 2018 show.

Hathaway wore the gown for a special occasion as well Thursday. George and Amal Clooney’s Clooney Foundation for Justice established the Albies last year as a “homage to those whose fearless devotion to human rights deserves admiration and support.”

The She Came to Me star is also the face of Versace’s Icons collection and recently co-hosted the inaugural dinner for the brand alongside Versace in New York City.

In a press release announcing the partnership in April, Hathaway described Versace designs for the campaign as “timeless elegance with an edge.”

The inspiration behind Icons was to create fashion that is “outside the trend cycle” and meant to be “worn again and again throughout your life,” as Hathaway shared on Instagram at the time.

While sharing the news in her Instagram caption, she added that she “thought it was a fantastic idea,” and is “so proud, grateful and thrilled to find myself newly included in the iconic @versace family.” She playfully ended her post by writing, “Now I’m gonna go enjoy these sexy jeans.”

“To me, the Versace Icons collection is timeless elegance with an edge. I’m so proud of these images which seem to represent Donatella’s vision of empowerment,” Hathaway said in the statement.

“What has left the biggest impression on me from this amazing experience is Donatella’s heart, generosity, and kindness,” the Oscar winner continued. “She and everyone in the Versace Family have been so incredibly welcoming and supportive of me, for which I am very grateful. What a thrill to be a Versace woman!”
