Fans questioned the timing of BLACKPINK’s announcement of the company as completely intentional.

After less than 2 months from the day YG confirmed that BLACKPINK would not renew their individual contracts, 3/4 members, Jennie, Lisa and Jisoo, respectively, announced the establishment of their own company.

However, the chronological order announced by the members surprised the online community as it completely coincided with the order of BLACKPINK members’ debut that YG has released since their debut in 2016.

Jennie, Lisa and Jisoo respectively announced their own companies including ODDATELIER, LLOUD and BLISSOO.

More specifically, on June 1, 2016, YG announced Jennie as the first member of BLACKPINK. She joined YG Entertainment as a trainee in 2010 after returning to Korea from New Zealand.

On June 8, 2016, YG continued to release images of Lisa as the second member of the group BLACKPINK. Lisa is also the mysterious girl who impressed fans in the video Who’s That Girl? that YG posted on YouTube in 2012.

On June 15, 2016, YG revealed the third member is Jisoo. She joined YG Entertainment as a trainee in July 2011.

Rosé was the last member to be revealed on June 22, 2016. She placed first among 700 candidates in YG Entertainment’s 2012 audition in Australia, after which she signed a contract with the company and moved to Seoul in April and began her trainee period.

The coincidence in time makes fans think that BLACKPINK actually “discussed” with each other about when to announce their own company. So up to now, only Rosé remains as a member. The member is still hiding his own “landing”.

According to many sources, it is likely that in the last week of February or the first week of March, Rosé will be the last member to announce her own company. Previously, Korean media also revealed that the “Australian rose” will soon announce her own company like the other 3 members of BLACKPINK.
