Season 4 Parody of The Boys Provides Glimpse into Homelander’s Costly and Protracted Legal Battle.

The latest parody from The Boys teases Homelander’s lengthy and costly legal battle in season 4, riffing on current events in the process.

A new parody from The Boys teases a long, costly legal battle for Homelander for season 4, making fun of current political events in the process. The end of season 3 saw Homelander kill a Starlight supporter, causing those rallying behind him to start cheering. However, it’s been established that next season will see the Supe on trial for his actions, and it will be a major part of the upcoming story.

Now, Vought International has released a parody for The Boys season 4, teasing just how costly Homelander’s legal trial is going to be.

The post announces the release of golden “Homelander High Tops,” a $777 shoe whose proceeds will go toward his legal battle. The image is a spoof of former President Donald Trump, who debuted $399 golden high-top sneakers in late February while in the middle of his own legal battles.

How Will Homelander’s Story Progress In The Boys Season 4?

The Boys season 3’s ending showed Homelander at his most ruthless, willing to kill a civilian out in the open after he attacked his son, Ryan. By killing the man in front of the boy, it also sets Ryan up as a possible threat if he believes what his father did to be right. However, it’s clear that, in the eyes of the law, the leader of the Seven is just as responsible for his actions as any human without powers would be.

It seems that, when Homelander is put on trial while also trying to raise his son, the Supe will likely snap worse than he ever has before. The Boys trailer for season 4 featured Homelander covered in blood, something that hasn’t happened since he massacred Vought soldiers in the season 2 finale. That previous event happened when Ryan was in danger of being taken from him. Perhaps something similar will transpire as a result of his trial, causing him to go on another murder spree.

Given that every murder he’s committed has been more open than the last, it’s reasonable to assume he will make a public display of his killings in The Boys season 4. However, with Gen V season 2 confirmed and season 5 of the main show possibly filming this summer, Homelander’s actions this season may not be the worst he’ll commit in the future. Then again, given his brazen display of violence in season 3, there’s no telling how much he’ll break when his trial commences.
