Chelsea could have the chance to raid Bayern Munich for one of their players this summer.
Jamal Musiala is someone who Chelsea have an interest in, according to the Daily Star.
The attacking midfielder is a key player for Bayern, but the same outlet has claimed that he has rejected a contract offer from the German club.
Musiala’s existing deal does not expire until 2026, but if he keeps showing an unwillingness to extend it and Chelsea come in with a big offer, Bayern may have to consider selling him.
The 21-year-old has been described as a “fantastic” player by Harry Kane and it is not hard to see why. Last season, for example, he scored 12 goals and provided 10 assists in 33 Bundesliga appearances.

Jamal Musiala rejects Bayern Munich contract amid Chelsea interest
If Musiala has turned down Bayern’s contract proposal, it is good news for Chelsea, who could get given the opportunity to re-sign a player that they lost in 2019.
Since then, the Germany international has gone on to become a very dangerous attacker as his stats from the previous campaign show.
Chelsea signed Christopher Nkunku to play in some sort of role just behind the striker, but the Frenchman keeps on getting injured, while a player of Musiala’s ability and potential is not someone you turn down.
Ultimately, if the Blues have the opportunity to sign Musiala this summer, then they have to take it. There is still a bit of time on his contract, so Bayern may feel that there is no need to sell him just yet.
But if the former Chelsea academy player tells his bosses that he has no intention of putting pen to paper on a new one, then the Bundesliga champions may have a decision to make at the end of the season. It is certainly one to keep an eye on in the next transfer window.
