Following the critical acclaim of their features The Favourite (2018) and Poor Things (2023), for which she earned her second Best Actress Oscar on Sunday, Searchlight Pictures announced the pair have an anthology film hitting theaters on June 21.
While the plot of their forthcoming project is being kept tightly under wraps, the movie, directed by Lanthimos, will star Stone, Jesse Plemons, Willem Dafoe, Margaret Qualley, Hong Chau, Joe Alwyn, Mamoudou Athie, and Hunter Schafer.

She also thanked Lanthimos for giving her ‘the gift of a lifetime’ in portraying ‘in Bella Baxter.’
Last year, Lanthimos revealed why he loved working with Stone during an interview with Entertainment Weekly.
‘Apart from being a great actress, [Emma] is a very unique presence overall,’ he told the outlet. ‘And as soon as I mentioned the story to her, she was immediately excited and just wanted to know everything about the world and read the script.’
