Keanu Reeves is sporting a new haircut for his next movie role.
After spending several years with long hair for his roles in the Matrix and John Wick franchises, Keanu Reeves has unveiled a new haircut on the set of his next film. Called Outcome, the movie is directed by Jonah Hill with Reeves starring in a main role. On social media, images from the set have emerged, showcasing Reeves with much shorter hair. He doesn’t look totally unrecognizable, however, as he’s still bearing his familiar facial hair, reminiscent of John Wick’s beard. ‘Let Him Rest’: Ian McShane Addresses Keanu Reeves’ Future as John Wick
The franchise’s Winston Scott actor shares a status update on John Wick 5 after a recent chat with Keanu Reeves.
“For over 25 years, Lance made an imprint and raised the bar in every work of art and genre he was in,” Reeves said of Reddick. “Not only with his performance, but with the man he was. Kind, generous, creative, insightful, authentic. He had a special grace. Strength, along with a vulnerability that drew us in, supported us, inspired us. He had a fire. Creative fire. A light from within him that could not be denied.”
One of Reddick’s final performances was in John Wick: Chapter 4, the last film to star Reeves. 2025’s Ballerina, a John Wick spinoff, will feature both Reddick and Reeves in their respective roles as Charon and John Wick. Reeves also recently filmed scenes for Aziz Ansari’s directorial debut film, Good Fortune, during which time he still had his familiar long hair. That film doesn’t yet have a release date, nor does Outcome, the project Reeves is currently shooting.
