After wrapping up filming his sequences for The Boys’ fourth season, Karl Urban (Billy Butcher) posted a clandestine set selfie of himself with Jeffrey Dean Morgan on social media.

On his last day of production for the fourth season of Prime Video’s The Boys, co-star Karl Urban (Billy Butcher) released some graphic set images, and now co-star Antony Starr (Homelander) has done the same with a sly little pic of his own.

Urban announced that he’s officially wrapped his scenes with a shot of himself alongside new cast member Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

The Star Trek actor jokes that it’s a shot of the pair “on the set of a Cadillac commercial,” but we’d say there’s a good chance this marks our first glimpse of Morgan’s mysterious character.

Based on how he’s dressed, we’d say he’s unlikely to be a Supe, but who knows?

Morgan has declined to reveal a single thing about his role in interviews.

UPDATE: Showrunner Eric Kripke has now confirmed that season 4 has wrapped completely with a couple of BTS shots.

Season 4 plot details are a mystery for now, but we do know that other new recruits will include Susan Heyward as Sister Sage, and Valorie Curry as Firecracker.

Cameron Crovertti (Ryan) has also been upped to series regular, which is hardly surprising after the sinister final shot of season 3.

Kripke recently confirmed that The Boys will not finish up after four seasons.
